Strengths:
Lordstown is a small village but has many available resources for the people in the community. There are at least six newspapers that are available locally for the community, along with many different news stations on the TV. It is also convenient that the newspapers are available online. Today, the world revolves around technology therefore it is great for the news to be available at the fingertips of the people. The hotlines are also very important. Often people don’t have people to lean on for support, but Lordstown has at least two different hotlines available for people to utilize.
Weaknesses:
A weakness in the communication within the Lordstown community is the lack of advertisement. In larger cities, there are a lot of billboards displayed, advertising local businesses, help hotlines, and medical resources. Although Lordstown is a small village compared to the surrounding areas, their small businesses would benefit from utilizing billboards and other advertisement opportunities.
