Lordstown Local Schools has a high passing rate for the high school students with graduating. Many students attend different universities within the area to further their school careers. They offer disability programs and reduced lunch rates for those who are in need of these services. They offer transportation for students. The public library is available for students to study and attend events.
Weaknesses
The local school was given a C rating from the Ohio School report card. They were also given a B with the graduation rate. Sex education is not a large topic in the school system either. Student are taught during a health class. They were also given a C in the prepared for success cargegory. These are areas that the school system has been looking at and trying to find improvements.
